Carri is a writer, speaker, producer and consultant, thinking and making work focused on the intersection of pop culture and politics. Carri serves on President Biden’s Advisory Committee on the Arts. In 2018 Carri co-founded Culture House Media, a production company making film, TV, commercials and immersive experiences. Carri and Culture House Media produced The Hair Tales for Hulu and OWN, Growing Up for Disney+, and Ladies First: A Story of Women In Hip Hop for Netflix. Carri is an expert in crafting entertaining, socially relevant and politically resonant stories. She is directing her first documentary feature film on the global reparatory justice movement.
